Arbor Glades is the most recent addition to the Flagless fold. Centered on the songwriting of lead guitarist/vocalist Andrew Duval, the band find a meeting point between Duval’s South African upbringing and the humdrum nooks and crannies of Montréal’s sometimes somber and frosty atmosphere. The result is a moody, jangly pop-rock with touches of surf and soul.

Arbor Glades will be playing two shows in Montreal this month to celebrate the release of the EP.

Code Pie Release Christmas Song

2011 was a busy year for Code Pie.

Named “a band to watch” by LesInRocks in France, the guys and gal released their third full-length album, “Love Meets Rage“, covered Justin Bieber and put out a video for single “North Side City View“. Currently, they’re working on an EP with producer Nick Sifoni. Stay tuned for more news on that release.

In the meantime, they’ve decided to usher in 2012 (and the possible end of times) with a Christmas song. Check out Code Pie’s holiday tune here:
